An open panoramic view can actually make your pool cage stronger when it is properly designed and installed. To support the larger open area, we install thicker corner posts and a stronger SMB beam to provide additional structural support.
We also use Super Screen, a stronger and more durable screen that is better suited for panoramic openings.
Another important advantage comes during high winds and HURICANES. By removing unnecessary posts and bars from the panoramic opening, there are fewer structural elements catching and resisting the wind. This can help reduce stress on the enclosure during severe weather. In some cases, the screen may be sacrificed during extreme winds, which is much easier and less costly to replace than major damage to the entire cage.
